What you can try is reinstalling the game, starting from a scratch, and after some progression, replacing the current save with the old one which is corrupted. If you are receiving a corrupt save file error, it is important to delete the file in order to avoid additional issues. This will NOT work on save files that are a minute apart, as that data is legitimately corrupted but will work on files that wouldn’t load initially or have been corrupted by association.Ĭorrupted save files can occur as a result of a connectivity issue or power loss when the game save file is being created or synced with the cloud.
If you load a really early save, you can piggyback a more recent save by loading from your earlier saved game.
